OFF-BROADWAY SHOW MY SINATRA CELEBRATES  FRANK SINATRA'S BIRTHDAY AND THEIR 200th PERFORMANCE

December 8, 2011 - Throughout the week of December 12, 2011 all performances of the hit Off-Broadway show, My Sinatra, will be celebrating Frank Sinatra's 96th birthday. My Sinatra is Cary Hoffman's implausible autobiographical story he reveals to his audience each night.

Coincidentally, the show My Sinatra will be celebrating their 200th performance the same week as Sinatra's birthday. To pay tribute to 96th years of Sinatra and recognize the 200th performance of My Sinatra, Hoffman will be raising a glass to toast Sinatra, while crooning to him "Happy Birthday," in the ageless Sinatra style.

My Sinatra is performing at Midtown Theatre (163 West 46th Street, NYC). Tickets information can be found at www.mySinatra.com or 866.811.4111

THE CANTERBURY TALES REMIXED

SoHo Playhouse | 15 Vandam Street

Tickets: http://www.sohoplayhouse.com or (866) 811-4111

Geoffrey Chaucer's timeless Canterbury Tales comes to vivid life in an "entertaining and brilliant" (Time Out) virtuoso performance linking today's hip-hop lyrics with the greatest stories ever told. Framed by gripping re-imaginings of the epic poems Gilgamesh and Beowulf, Canadian hip-hop artist Baba Brinkman forges a new masterpiece out of the rawest material etched onto vinyl, or carved into clay tablets. Just like the most heart-wrenching songs by Eminem or Kanye West, these ancient Tales are infused with lust, betrayal, infidelity, greed, jealousy, ambition, and the endless struggles between men and women seeking happiness.

But now their daughter has grown and run away, Frida and Diego are too famous to call, and artistic inspiration has been strangled by isolation and mendacity. Set in an empty artists’ colony in the Mexican desert in 1950, this mystery play reveals what happens to relationships when a long hidden family lie is exposed.
